This is not bad at all. The melodies feel very familiar, though... It's not that they are identical to something that was already done, but they do leave an impression of being a little generic.

BlazingDragon responds:

I don't hear any of them as being particularly generic, but thanks for the input anyway. :)

I enjoyed this. The buildup was interesting and, unlike others, I didn't find the wobble to be too overdone. I just expected more melodical variety for a nearly 5 minute song... But that's just my taste.

Lone-X responds:

I appreciate the critique! I am glad you enjoyed this! I will take what you said onto other projects.

Peace and love,
Lone X

I like the mood in this, but I feel that it could benefit from more intensity in a few parts.

jambrother2 responds:

thanks man i always appreciate a fair review
hopefully youl dig it a bit more once iv got some vocals down and fattened up the mix a bit

Gets quite interesting once the piano starts. It does convey the feelings you mentioned pretty well. Good job.

ChronoNomad responds:

I'm glad to hear that it's an effective piece of music. I almost always incorporate at least a little bit of piano, it being my favorite instrument and all. It's a bias that I can frequently get away with nurturing. Thanks for stopping by, and I really appreciate your comments!

Good. Just a little generic.

lieutenantcowbellboy responds:

Ye, I know what you mean, but then that was kind of the idea :)

There's something special and soothing about the melody. It feels... Nostalgic.

rosenrotR responds:

Maybe a little :) Thank for you comment!

I really liked this one. Gets quite interesting after the intro, and the percussion is very well made (unlike mine, most of the time).

Nav responds:

Thanks for reviewing :)

Nice melodies. I can see myself listening to this on occasion.

TheyCallMeCaudex responds:

Thanks!

This song made me healthier.

spot1techno responds:

Haha, great! :D

Many things need to be worked on, especially the vocals. They are in the wrong tone in some parts, and seem to be lacking presence in comparison to the other instruments. I think they would sound better without the reverb, also.

johnnyq1233 responds:

Thank you for the input...
It's been a while since anyone bothered to put any feedback to me at all!
I know it's not perfect and the vocals are supposed to be a little off in some parts.
This is a first run as I only had 24 hours of time to put to the project and needed some feedback.
If you could be more specific on the parts that you target, that would be great!
Thanks again...JQ
